(NOV. 19) 鈥 recent regional win of the Shell Eco-marathon Pitch of the Future () has qualified UP Diliman麻豆视频 (UPD) very own to compete at the Global Championship from Nov. 19 to 20 (10:30 p.m to 1:30 p.m).
UPD is encouraged to participate and support the team in the online voting which will comprise 23 percent of the final score. 聽The voting period is from Nov. 19 (7 p.m.) until Nov. 22 (8 a.m.).
Alamat UP麻豆视频 winning entry is the CERO (Carbon dioxide/CO2 Emissions Reduction Operation).聽 CERO aims to estimate CO2 emissions from vehicles and suggest ways how drivers can decrease the emission.聽 The recorded CO2 emissions will then be collected and used as a guide for environmental policy-making.
A University-wide team based at the UPD College of Engineering, Alamat UP will face the regional winners of America and Europe for the grand title. 聽The championship round gives the regional winners the opportunity to live pitch their entries infront of industry expert judges.
At the regional, Alamat UP was also hailed as the Top Submission in Asia/Middle East for the 鈥溾 challenge (T&R CO2).
